Black Day For India Pulwama Attack 14 February
The Pulwama Attack, which took place on February 14, 2019, was one of the deadliest terrorist attacks in India’s history. On that fateful day, a suicide bomber rammed a car filled with explosives into a convoy of the Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in the Indian-administered region of Jammu and Kashmir. The attack claimed the lives of 40 CRPF personnel and injured many others.
The responsibility for the attack was claimed by the Pakistan-based terrorist group, Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM). The group has a long history of carrying out terrorist attacks in India and has been designated as a terrorist organization by several countries, including India, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
The Pulwama attack sent shockwaves across the country and sparked outrage among the Indian public. In the aftermath of the attack, the Indian government launched a series of diplomatic and military measures to hold Pakistan accountable for its support of terrorism. The Indian Air Force carried out a series of airstrikes on terrorist training camps in Pakistan, which were claimed to have inflicted significant damage on the infrastructure used by terrorist groups.
The international community, including the United States and the United Nations, condemned the attack and expressed their condolences to the families of the victims. However, despite India’s efforts to isolate Pakistan diplomatically, the latter continued to deny its involvement in the attack and failed to take decisive action against the JeM and other terrorist groups operating on its soil.
The Pulwama attack remains a fresh wound in the minds of Indians, and February 14 is observed as a “Black Day” to remember the sacrifices of the brave CRPF personnel who lost their lives in the line of duty. The families of the victims continue to demand justice, and the Indian government has promised to take all necessary measures to ensure that those responsible for the attack are held accountable.
In conclusion, the Pulwama attack serves as a grim reminder of the ongoing threat posed by terrorism in India and around the world. It is important for the international community to come together to combat this menace and to ensure that those who perpetrate such acts of violence are brought to justice. On this Black Day of February 14, we pay our respects to the victims of the Pulwama attack and stand in solidarity with the families of the fallen soldiers.
